Can you play a bass through a guitar amp without screwing it up?

just wanted to know because it may be a good use to give an extra guitar amp to my bass player in my band.

  • Left-T - Take your best shot. says:

No real danger as long as you don’t push the bass tone all the way up. That will distort the sound and thrown the speakers of center which could damage them permanently.

Play with the bass at half way, treble set at 4 and middle set at 4. That should give you a decent sound.
