Oh yeah dickdog. Yeah man! God! I can’t stand when people are off time and have human like qualities. When I’m jamming I always always always record what i’m playing into protools to a tempo map(cringing while i’m playing) then i listen to after i’m finished recording. This guy doesn’t have a clue.

can anyone tell me what scale he’s playing at 3:26 and 3:32? maybe the tabs would be good too?

  • wisesatyr72 says:

the nighthawk guitar never caught on..maybe I shouldve bought one

  • funkyjones says:

The lines he’s playing are based on arpeggios (series of notes in a chord)
He’s playing an Em arpeggio and then a Bm arpeggio with maybe a note or two from those scales.

  • funkyjones says:

Sorry the first one is an Em7 arpeggio.
He plays the chord and follows it with the arpeggio. Same with the Bm.

how much do these amps range from for a goo one but affordable

  • gibshall says:

They only make one guitar amp right now. It costs $850.

It’s had its fair share of wear, some scratches here and there, but it’s been maintained well: the neck is straight, no cracks in the body, etc. sounds quite nice. The kind I have is a 94′ original 3-pick up model. A fine piece of equipment if you ask me.

Is the guy in the video shotgun Mike?

  • ottohof says:

    $350 to $450. I picked mine up for $300 back in ‘04.

OK, this amp has ultra smooth break-up. I believe 50% of Frampton’s live tone is from the dual combo version of this circuit.

I prefer the rockets EQ balance over FDR’s. These units are every bit booteek level.

Upon delivery, my P90 ax grinded hard and rung like a bell. My jaw was on the floor. Super lush reverb on tap too. $300!!!

I’ve read that speakers, such as a Fane Axiom or Altec 417 will brighten them, tighten the low- end when cranked and increase volume.

@shortedaman Crate,Hi end models sound great! I dont know if they will last as long as my 60s Fender amps (seriously doubt it),but for a semi-pro,they are a very good deal.I am buying one for my studio(used cheap from pawn shop)cause it gets sounds my Fenders cant get without alot of tweaking. All in all,a very good (reliable?)sounding, cheap amp! I would not take it out without a groadcase though! My point they are not all Crap(Crate).

  • bluesgroove2951 says:

@EdPolepsy Is that a name or a disease.Just kidding. You must of gotten that all yo life.?

  • lazur1 says:

late’72-early ‘73, Albert King toured w/18 year-old Hollywood Fats on 2nd guitar. Fats used a ‘newer’, (mid- ’60’s?) Reverb Rocket, side-by-side w/Albert’s monstrous Acoustic 260. It was absolutely killer.

  • cortezandthekillers says:

I have a ‘67 reverb-o-jet ampeg. It is super clean sounding & I like it a lot. They definately make nice amps.
