Fender Acoustasonic 30 DSP Guitar Amp Review

Here is my review on my Fender Acoustasonic 30 DSP Guitar Amp. This amp is great for using an Acoustic Guitar live or for recording. With its Mic input you can sing and play Guitar very easily.

Thanks for the review ! think about getting this amp.. do you think its loud enough for on stage with a band?

  • TheMadMusicMan says:

If you can get miced up or ran dirrect into the PA, it would. But if no extra amplification, get the bigger version.

you do know that the “room” and “plate” effect as you called it, is actually reverb right?

  • TheMadMusicMan says:

It’s not really “reverb”, reverb is created with springs or tubes. It kinda is a reverb effect but it still sounds quite different.

  • GuitarTube11 says:

Well, Im going to have to di\sagree with you on that part. Maybe on that amp, they are different, but on my amps, and also multi-effects pedals, there is reverb, and the categories of the reverb are plate reverb (simulates reverb off of a plate), spring reverb “simulates a reverb with spring(, ect, etc.

hey thanks for the review…I’m looking for a two channel amp for signing and guitar…i love this amps features but its sound isn’t too appealing (sounds too western/countyrish)…I’m looking for more of a grungy blues sound effect…any recommendations?, perhaps I should just buy a pedal effect?

  • TheMadMusicMan says:

This amp is not just country sounding, it gets many great tones. I have recorded with this amp for a love song and it sounded so sweet. To me, effects pedals are wacked out with acoustic amps. they just rob the tone…

thaks! this amp is quite good for its brand. :) but i’ll go for the kustom sienna30,much cheaper with good acoustic projection.

  • woahuplayguitar says:

how much does this amp cost?

  • 8x26x08 says:

    350$

  • samuraifugitivo says:

I own this one and your right, the reverb sound more like an “echo” device

  • samuraifugitivo says:

This is a very cheap puppy, the sound isnt exactly top notch, furhtermore, is very amateur. Youll have to look for something more expensives on this same series (the top of the line acoustasonic, but it retails for us$ 1000, thats more than twice the price of this one).

  • samuraifugitivo says:

No, it isnt loud enogh, go for the top of the line acoustasonic
