have a look at sapper262 channel or my own channel. This is an LC15 in band situation unmiked with volume on about 6 and gain on about 6 (no reverb). Definitely loud enough for small gigs plus you can either mike it or use the line out if you need more volume
I had an lc15 and a tiny terror, the TT cost me £70 more than the laney, has no eq, (just a tone control) no speaker , no reverb and no line out – unlike the laney which has all of these. The sound from my lc15 is a true sweet british valve sound, in comparison the tiny terror was a thinner, brasher sound, the TT had more gain but i’ve now sold it as the laney kicked it’s ass out of the door.
It’s loud too, just add an extension speaker and you could play small gigs with it.
The LC15 has no reverb or fx loop. The tubes were mounted upsidedown on the underside of the circuit board which resulted in overheating problems. The heat generated by tubes is supposed to dissapate through the tip of the tube but on the LC15 the opposite happens. A common solution to this is to turn the amp upsidedown or attach a fan. All these issues have been dealt with with the new LC15-110 making it a far superiour amp. I’m not sure but I think they also used a better speaker on the 110.
what is it costs?
I recently bought a Laney LC15 and I love it.This little tube combo can really scream.
like 500$

I lovee the sound at the beggining so funny !
Whoa, i’m doing the same thing !!
great choice dude !
hey
can someone who has one of these tell me what the FS-1 footswitch does when you use it with this amp??
it only has one channel…
Probably effect bypass?
Turns the reverb on and off.
By the way is this guy using some additional reverb/delay unit?
But this is Andy Timmons?!?!?!
Its probably more then enough for practice and small gigs
can this handle metal with a good kick?
i’m looking for a recording amp that can go for clean to brutal.
The bad sound quality doesn’t make justice on how good this amp sounds in person. And can get as loud as a 50w solid state amp.
Puts reverb on/off.
Reverb/fx loop
lol
yes… just use another dist pedal to give a boost

is the big diffrent between laney lc15 and laney lc15 – 110 ??? and what diffrent ??
“110″ refers to the number of speakers and the size of those.
Here, it’s “110″ = 1 X10” speaker.
Since the LC15 is not available as a head (correct me if I’m wrong), when you hear about the LC15 it has to be the LC15-110.
my name is laney. cool….
what exactly is that bright switch he’s talking about? I’m new to this sort of thing…
do you think this amp could be good for a blues tone (hendrix, srv)?
