I bought one of these a few months back and it has a nice fizzy almost fuzz tone ot it which isn’t very noticable on most videos. Very cool amp.

Sacrilege. He played it on a lame Les Paul. That song is made to be played on a Strat.

    Including cab?

  • rickysganja says:

Fuzzy highs and muddy lows. Now i remember why i sold my Marshall.

this is a great amp. i bought one just over a year ago. unfortunately im selling it due to lack of space. its a 50watt head and the cab is custom – slightly bigger than a marshall cab with eminence speakers and built like a tank. sounds fantastic. if any1’s interested im selling for £600. any questions just ask. UK only

for some reason when people play unchained with a down stroke first, it sound retarded… is it just me or shouldn’t it start with an up stoke?

  • breakfast144 says:

it’s funny you say that… because marshalls are known for the opposite

  • LedZeppelinisgod100 says:

i agree. most of these vids just make it sound like a jcm900.

  • LedZeppelinisgod100 says:

actually check out 4:47….cool tone. and the fuzziness you’re talking about (which i also experienced. i tried one out about a year back and remember that.

  • Noseheros says:

@rickysganja you know you could’ve swapped the speakers if you didnt like the sound, and it most likely would’ve taken care of that problem

  • rickysganja says:

No, Mesa is tight and Marshall is poopy and loose.

    Unchained! yeah van halen rox!

  • redberon2003 says:

@rickysganja That’s a load of false. A Tube rectifier can’t be anything near defined as “Tight”. It sags like a fucking bitch, you can hear it all over the recordings as well. Anytime you put any sizable amount of power through a tube rectifier you get a lot of loose sag. By using Solid State Rectifiers Marshall does not suffer these issues.
