Would it work if I used a guitar amp on a bass?
What would happen if I used my line 6 Spider III 30 watt amp on a Fender Precision Bass? I just bought a Fender Precision Bass for 600 dollars and I dont wanna have to buy another amp, would it work if I plugged my Bass into my guitar amp? If it would work what would be the downside?
Guitar amplifiers aren’t built to support to low frequencies of the bass..so plugging it in would damage your amplifier. However, it possible to plug a guitar into a bass amp and have it work perfectly fine.
